Sonoma Valley High School

I have been teaching at SVHS for the past 6 years. Previously I worked at Maria Carillo High School. My undergraduate degree is from Boston College where I majored in Education. I received a Masters of Education in Counseling from Fordham University. I teach 4 different classes this year: Cahsee Math, Basic Algebra, WorkAbility, and AVID. I currently live in Sonoma and have three children, two who graduated from SVHS and one son who is a Junior. My door is always open to students and parents alike. Basic Algebra: In this class the students are exposed to basic algebra concepts. We use the Bridge to Algebra textbook and the Carnegie Learning computer program. I focus on the Algebra skills that are required to pass the CAHSEE test. The grading system is 30% classwork, 30% computer, 20% quizzes, 20% homework. » read more...
