Class Notes: Requirements for class.
Students are required to be in class ON TIME! Skating in as the bell rings counts as a tardy! All students should have a binder (or section in a binder), something to write with (pen or pencil, NOT any type of marker), and lined paper. Those who forget supplies may use a golf pencil and scratch paper.
There is a class routine that is easy to follow and creates points for the student: copy the prompt for the Daily Writing (include date) and respond, writing at least half a page. Keep these Daily Writes until the end of the six week grading period, then turn in, compiled in order from newest to oldest, with a comment on the front. All classwork will be filed, and you should write a reflective two paragraphs at the end of each semester about your best work from the semester.
All class work is due the day it is assigned. Late work will have points deducted. If you cut, the highest point value you may receive is 50% of the original value, and may only be done by arrangement. Homework is due the class period after it is assigned, and may not be made up for points.
Seniors are required to complete their Senior Project research paper, correctly and on time.
