Sonoma Valley High School

This year in 11-12 English, we will be working on Senior Project in the fall semester.  All students will pick a research topic (yes, juniors, even you--you need to learn this!), and write a research paper.  We will work on all parts of the Senior Project, which will be homework as well as class work.  After the paper is turned in, we have a short story unit to complete before winter vacation.

For my new LH 9-10 class, we will spend a great eal of time learning to write a great essay.  After working in this class, the CAHSEE test will be much easier for you!  We also have a short story unit to work on, as well as a grammar and poetry unit.  If we don't finish it all the first semester, we have plenty of time to continue in the second semester.,
