IMPORTANT! There will be a play reading Thursday, September 2nd at 12:25p in the Little Theatre. We are still looking for men to play the two lead male parts. Please encourage your male friends to come and try out.
There will be a meeting for anyone interested in participating in Sonoma State University’s high school fall baseball program. The meeting will be Thursday, September 2nd at lunch in room F-4.
Attention Working Students! This is a reminder that all work permits must be renewed each year. Permits issued last year have already expired. Please fill out the application for a new permit as soon as possible.
College Bound Juniors and Seniors! Several college admissions representatives will be visiting Sonoma Valley High this fall. Visiting campus representative include: St. Mary’s College, University of Montana, Reed College, University of Oregon, Boston University, Whitman College, Dominican University, Willamette University, University of Alabama and many more. A complete list is posted at the College & Career Center and on the high school website. Attending sessions will help you decide which college is right for you and allow you to practice interviewing skills. Listen for weekly announcements to sign up to attend.
Are you taking honors or AP classes? Would you like to become a paid peer tutor? If so, you need to sign up with your AP teacher or in the College & Career Center. You will also need to complete and return in a parent permission form to be included on the list. The deadline for turning in paperwork to become a tutor this fall is Friday, September 17th.
